Learning to breathe correctly (efficiently and anatomically correct) is the absolute best thing I’ve ever done! It has been truly amazing and life changing!
Most people don’t think much about breathing, because we do it automatically. But Just because you breathe automatically doesn’t mean you are breathing effectively, efficiently, or anywhere near the level you could be. Most people don’t have a clue on how to breathe correctly and efficiently. Most of us have developed over the course of our lifetimes faulty habits that actually limit our breathing capacity and rob us of the vitality we could be experiencing. Based on the work of Dr. Belisa Vranich (the Breathe Method) and others, this training uses a biomechanical approach and teaches you how to breathe more functionally and efficiently by strengthening your actual breathing muscles. Through a series of breathing exercises (a breathing “work out'') you develop the capacity to breathe easier, use oxygen more effectively, regulate your breathing (slow down and relax, combating anxiety and stress, or speeding up and producing energy at will). This is not your average “foo foo” new age breathwork training. This involves tangible measurable progress in your breathing attitude and performance. There seems to be something magical that happens when you perfect your breathing. It seems to affect one’s whole life in many areas. I’ve seen it help drug and alcohol addicted people, I’ve seen it help people with social anxiety come out of their shell, I’ve seen severe Type-A people learn to relax, calm down and be more centered. For me personally, it helped me overcome obstacles in my life, feel empowered, and experience the world in a better way.
Learning to breathe better and developing your breathing skill will give you more vitality, energy, zest for life, calmness and mental clarity. It affects every aspect of one’s life.
